Frank Walters

After art school, Frank Walters began a long and distinguished career as an award winning creative director in advertising, but always found time to paint the odd landscape.

During Covid in 2020 he started teaching watercolour on Zoom. This has been highly successful and continues every Wednesday afternoon to this day. 

He also became the resident watercolour tutor at Kew Art Studio where he hosts his 'Art Club' every Tuesday evening.

He has exhibited at the Chelsea Art Society summer exhibition, writes regular features for the Artists & Illustrators Magazine and his YouTube Channel continues to grow. Three times a year he enjoys ‘en plein air’ painting retreats with his ever growing painting community visiting locations such as Andalusia, Tuscany and the Côte d’Azur.

Frank’s role in advertising has made him a captivating artist and amusing story teller, as he extols all the secrets of his favourite alchemy.

He believes that his loose and expressive style can be easily mastered by anyone with an open mind. 

As a person who has spent a life presenting concepts, his art demos are slick, professional and deploy overhead projector technology that makes the learning experience truly immersive.
