Join artist Carol Wilson in the Perche Valley, in the Orne region of Lower Normandy, France.

Situated in the unspoilt countryside of the Perche Valley, in the Orne region of Lower Normandy, "Forest View" is set in 10 acres, including a 1.5 acre lake, situated next to the Foret de Saussay. Forest View offers leisure breaks for Camping, Caravaning, Painting, Fishing, Walking, Cycling and Bird Watching.

The accommodation includes a 3-bedroom gite with an open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge, and ground floor bathroom and 3 double Bed and Breakfast rooms. Also on-site are 20 grass pitches for tents, caravans & motor homes, situated around the lake & in the orchard with views to the forest and the surrounding unspoilt countryside.

The workshops incorporate different mediums, i.e watercolour, acrylic & pastels. Workshops will take place either in the studio, or out in the surrounding countryside.

The established lake offers fishing for all the family. The lake is stocked with a variety of fish such as Carp, Roach, and Perch.

Itinerary

• Sunday, 6th July Depart by minibus from Mablethorpe, arriving in time for dinner.
• Monday Visit to priory & museum
• Tuesday Visit to local market (the 3rd largest in France), and in the afternoon to Manoir.
• Wednesday Workshop with resident artist Karen Wilson, including a boozy lunch, French-style (teetotallers beware!).
• Thursday Either Paris or Monet's garden.
• Friday Shopping and a garden visit.
• Saturday, 12th July Return to UK

All visits on the itinerary offer the chance to paint - but only if you want to.

Most meals are included in the price, but wine is not included, and lunch will need to be purchased on some of the visits .
